The 2800 system is capable of transmitting 1080p video content up to 75 metres in one run without any loss of quality, and supports an almost unlimited number of HDTV displays. Using Gigabit Ethernet technology (GbE), picture quality is maximised while overcoming the slow handshake times, poor cable integrity, and distance limitations of traditional HDMI distribution amplifiers. Using off-the-shelf Gigabit Ethernet switches, a system can be extended for even more distance, or expanded to add more displays. This plug and play system is incredibly simple to install - just connect a single Cat5e or Cat 6 from the 2801 transmitter to a GbE switch, then feed the cables from the switch to a network of 2811 receivers.
