The UniDrive is 'a better kind of balun' - a high performance active point Cat5 extender capable of distributing high definition component video, analogue stereo audio, and digital audio signals from one source to one display over distances up to 330 metres. Including proprietary AGE (active Gain Equalisation) technology, high frequency signals are presented with their original quality intact. Incorporating the key signal paths necessary for premium audio and video entertainment, plus an IR pathway for easy remote control of AV components, the AVP-11 replaces six coaxial cables with two inexpensive, easy to install Cat5 cables, and requires no power at the Cat5 receiver.
